Dan Foley is not a credible spokesperson for Republicans. He is too far to the right and somewhat of a clown personality.

I don't know if suing a serial liar such as Dan Foley would be successful in court. I mean, he's DAN FOLEY, for God's sake!!! What else can come out of his mouth but the vilest lies. He's sort of a self parody.

But I agree that the Independent shouldn't take chances with Dan. They'd be safer replacing him with a Racial Sensitivity column penned by Fernando See Debacle.

I was just thinking Mr. Foley that if you were living in Heinrich's district that you could have been arrested by Sheriff Darren White for your assault on referees. You of all people shouldn't be throwing stones here. At least be truthful.

Foley clearly has a problem with the truth. I admire the Independent for seeking balance in views but to allow someone this dishonest to post here is shameful and, as I said earlier, potentially libelous.

The term "radical environmentalist" is laughable when it comes to Heinrich. He's middle of the road at best. However, if I were Heinrich I sue you for libel for this column. I'd sue the Independent also for allowing you to state such blatent unthruths. Stating that Heinrich has worked to keep northern New Mexicans from gathering wood and worked to close off forests to hunters and hikers and families is an out-and-out lie. The Independent should not allow you to print such blatent lies. As a northern New Mexican myself, I know that Heinrich is an avid hunter himself and that he has worked to keep the forests open for families and wood gatherers like myself.

You sir, are a liar.

You should be ashamed and, if I were Martin Heinrich, I'd sue you and the Independent.

If anyone can spot a lobbyist, that would be Foley... I mean, he's certainly had his palm greased by plenty.
