    Thank you for making this career move. I and many others congratulate you on your past and future contributions to the South Valley. I too someday hope to be in a position to become an educator. Many members of my family have made careers out of teaching and have touched many thousands of lives. Your next adventure will provide you with many uplifting experiences, and I hope you will contiue to share them with us!

    Great article, but tough situation. The parents are the ones to blame for kids coming to school unprepared. The parents have no parenting skills, maybe no skills of any kind. United States citizens need to encourage education at every level and in each case. I feel sorry for these kids, many of them may not be able to sit still for 88 minute classes, but they will end up doing time in prisons if they somehow do not wise up and start preparing to live productive lives.
