Somehow, this strikes me as wrong. Its one thing to make a legal donation to a PAC running someone against Cadigan, but this is something else.

A second mailer appeared today in the mailbox. This one attacks Cadigan as against schools because he doesn't support creation of a SunCal school district. Source, Westside Chamber of Commerce (i.e. Dan Serrano). By the way, who is Cabarello Farm?

Has anyone pulled Cadigan's campaign contribution list? It's public on the Clerk's website and very interesting indeed. Developers and builders are such horrible second class citizens but their money is not so bad that he won't use it to fund his campaign? And A LOT of it. Even more telling, using developer money to fund a campaign instead of using the City's public finance option; the legislation you crafted yourself.

I did look at those reports just yesterday. I know he has taken developer money in the past, but I question how you make that conclusion for the '09 election cycle. There are a lot of contributions from lawyers, but I'm not seeing money from the developer crowd in any meaningful amount. You'll find that money in the MFCs.

Hmmmm...isn't that about what the state deficit is? Is this why we must cut Medicaid so these out-of state thieves can have their $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ excuse me; OUR money?
No wonder they're going after Cadigan, he's the only honest man in the county. I love him for keeping Chavez' hands off the South Valley property taxes to give to this corporation so they can build lousy houses nobody can afford or wants. And use up our water as well.

Geez, give 'em the money and they'll own the state. Don't you just LOVE it when corporations take OUR money and lobby against our best interests???? as well as try to write our laws?

I'm getting really tired of the old "jobs" saw as well. They take our money to create jobs for us. Let's create our own jobs. How about in solar energy?
