The Bush administration and his minion Stevan Pearce have kept American incomes low by opposing hikes in the minimum wage; shunning policies to modernize infrastructure, making college more affordable, and boosting spending on basic scientific research. This is an exteme right wing idealogue - who has no concept how the average American is struggling. However he is for welfare for the corporations. Mr. Pearce is illiberal through and through.

Re: Pearce to Udall: You are ‘breathtakingly liberal’

Yeah and Congressman Pearce is a "breathtaking" Bush political hack - screwing the average New Mexican and worshiping the oil companies. He doesn't care about the average economically strapped New Mexican family. Go back to Hobbs - Mr. Pearce and count your oil money!

Re: Pearce to Udall: You are ‘breathtakingly liberal’

According to Princeton University's WordNet, Liberal means "a person who favors a political philosophy of progress and reform and the protection of civil liberties." So being liberal is bad?
