But there is an interesting fact out there. ALL the representatives from Arizona voted against the bailout? It just shows how much the other reps from AZ respect McCain. If he can't get the republicans from his home state to vote with him how is he going to get the rest of the nation to work with him. Maybe they are angry because while McCain brags that in 26 years he has never done anything for his home state, they are all stuck working for the people of Arizona in DC.

ARIZONA
Democrats — Giffords, N; Grijalva, N; Mitchell, N; Pastor, N.
Republicans — Flake, N; Franks, N; Renzi, N; Shadegg, N.

Re: Pearce among those keeping Washington from approving bailout

JOD2 this isn't fixing anything, you and Hemingway are nothing more than partisan hacks. Spread more lies your partisan attacks are the reason this country is in the shape it is, you are just as culpable as pearce.

Re: Pearce among those keeping Washington from approving bailout

Gee, how surprising. Pearce was part of the gang that caused this problem. Why would he want to fix it?

Re: Pearce among those keeping Washington from approving bailout

Congressman Pearce can care less about the middle class and credit predators. Steve Pearce cast yet another vote that put the interests of the privileged few over those of the middle class, voting against a bill to crack down on deceptive, abusive, and unfair practices by credit card companies. Congressman Tom Udall and Congresswoman Heather Wilson both voted to pass the bill.

Pearce is anti-family when it comes to the economy. He is afraid his rich buddies might suffer!

Re: Pearce among those keeping Washington from approving bailout

Hemingway you just spout partisan rhetoric....you have no basis for the comment. I don't like Pearce either, but your partisan attacks are baseless and tiresome.

Re: Pearce among those keeping Washington from approving bailout

When the vast majority of American Taxpayers are saying NO to this Bailout it appears that only Pearce has heard. Let the Free Market correct it's self. Plus all the prior attempts to fixes the meltdown to date has totaled almost 900 billion and still has not worked. So now add another 700 billion for the Bailout. NO should be NO.

Re: Pearce among those keeping Washington from approving bailout

Congressman Stevan Pearce has always oppose regulation regarding subprime mortgages, CDO's and any reform of executive compensation.
