  • The Republican Party would do well to begin running ads that focus on real issues rather than smears. The continued attempts to divide us as a nation, to mud-sling and condemn without offering tangible solutions isn't going to work with an increasingly intelligent/media savvy audience.

That said, I think the national Democratic committees have produced some deplorable ads as well. Obama hasn't done too much of it, but other organizations have.

The commercials in CD1 are horrid on both sides.

Why can't candidates and their supporters emphasize how they'd make this world a better place? It may not be sexy, but it'd sure help us hapless voters make our decisions.
  • And what did Republicans think would happen? That Americans would want to vote for more Republicans. All Americans need to do is ask themselves if the America we will inherit from Republicans is the same as the America George W. Bush inherited from the Democrats in 2000.

They and their cronies have trashed the country. They have trashed anyone who does not think like them. They have trashed the less fortunate and called them names. They have trashed those who do not follow their religion of right wing Christian fanatics.

And they have not stopped, it got them elected by dividing the country and they were sure it would do it again. They expect Americans to believe that the next generation of "uniters" would be better than the last. They have another think coming.
