This enthusiasm for all one party to sweep it all is dangerous and has led to problems for years afterward. Remember De Tocqueville's concern about "the tyranny of the majority" in a democracy. I'm already seeing signs of it. Anyone who expresses a view different that the "conventional wisdom" of the day is verbally beaten down in the new media.
If the Dems sweep everything tomorrow, will they represent those who are NOT on the far left too?
