To sin tax or not to sin tax
She's become a shill for the new Republican party, the one so few thinking Republicans can now support.
But, heck, until January she's OUR despicable GOP liar!
Heather also said: "America is a force for good in the world and has been for a century."
What? Only a CENTURY? Why does Heather hate American behavior prior to 1908? What about ending slavery? What about stealing New Mexico from Mexico? What about Marbury vs. Madison?
Why does Heather hate Marbury vs. Madison???
The founding father never intended the Constitution to be the American Bible. No, I subscribe to what the other TJ - Thomas Jefferson - believed: there should be a revolution in America every twenty-five years; the Constitution thrown out, the politicans, lawyers, and judges thrown out and the new generation decides what's going to happen. It's healthy, this generational cleaning, but only if it happens regularly and with no outside interests participating. Jefferson never envisioned the internet, jet travel or global banking.
Look at the US: the highest percentage of armed citizenry in the world and no revolution in over two hundred years. "A well-armed but cowardly militia being necessary to the continuance of a feeble and ineffective Democracy ..."
Humbug! You can't say Jefferson failed to warn us that this would happen.
