It will be interesting to see which Democrats line up behind Jennings. I am wondering which way John Arthur Smith will go. Democrats voting with Republicans need to be sure that all of the (Democrats voting with Republicans) will stay together to hold on to whatever committee seats/chairs they have. In essence by voting with Republicans for Jennings they are giving the Senate to Republicans, something the voters of New Mexico did not have in mind.

Mary Kay Papen also supported Rawson during the election. She emailed many constituents. Mr. Jennings and Ms. Papen should not hold any leadership positions because of disloyalty. You need to be accountable for your political sins and arrogance!

I'm shocked, shocked that Jennings would accuse the governor of trying to influence the round house (Tim, did you just fall off a turnip truck?). Jennings' problem is that he is as politically tone deaf as Marty Chavez (another Dem who moved right and sucked up hard to the R's, while the rest of the Democratic party was becoming more progressive). Have fun on that back bench, Timmy, at least you're still there, unlike your BFF Rawson.

You clearly know very little of New Mexico Legislature history....

If anybody just fell off the NM politics turnip truck it is you! Not Jennings.
