But if they want to talk politics, the law is clear: then you pay taxes. Churches have been flouting this law with impunity for decades. Don't know why they would be tax-free to begin with, but if they are disregarding the law that makes them tax free, they should be willing to pay the price for their decision. You can't – or shouldn't be able to – disobey the law and then say that you shouldn't face the consequences of doing so.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">John McAndrew</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 30 Sep 2008 15:32:49 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
