Getting prepped for tonight’s debate

To fix a problem, you must first acknowledge it exists.   • I think the bigger problem is recognizing that American "consumerism" is dead - or at least in a coma. We save next to nothing, in fact we've spent far more than we earned as a country. Some economists have warned about this for years, but no politician listened because asking us to do anything hard - like save a few bucks a week, and then only buy what we need - and when we have the cash for it - isn't a way to become elected to anything.

    I'm still looking for clues from either Obama or McCain which show they understand the problem and have an approach to fix it. All I hear is "Hope", "Change" and "Country First". All meaningless slogans.
  • No both of the candidates are part of corrupt political parties that care nothing for the American people.

    Just say no to McBama, there is really no difference between the two.
