The New Mexico Independent: From prisoner to renowned poet

The UNM Libraries Summer lecture series has once again provided us an opportunity to meet and hear some of the outstanding intellects in the world. Last year we heard Richard Rodriguez and this year we were treated with Buffy St. Marie and Jimmy Santiago Baca with V. B. Price thrown in for good measure. UNM is to be complimented for providing us with these opportunities for spiritual and intellectual growth.
