Its plays as a perfect strategy, push the conversation to the extreme so that even the far right seems reasonable... same game FOX and CNN play everyday.
As far as that Rovian groupie Pearce, the left would do itself a favor in trying to get a nutjob like that nominated so as to ensure a democratic win. Unfortunately, the far-right are political wizards in this far from legitimate political system we got going... the left should be taking notes and applying their strategy. Rush Limbaugh has most recently resulted to reverse psychology by verbally endorsing Obama, hoping that the Super Delegates might think he has a point... take notes Dems, the gloves should've come off long ago.
