The New Mexico Independent: Denver Post: Richardson should get Obama’s nod as VP

I imagine that choosing Richardson would only give Obama a bump in NM, for a measly 5 electoral votes. Surely there's someone else who would help Obama more in FL, OH, or MI, where he really needs help right now...

McCain HAS to choose Romney, he has no choice he NEEDS Michigan to win in November.

And if Obama takes Indiana or Virginia (which he might do anyway without Kaine or Bayh) he STILL would need Ohio or Florida. If Obama takes Ohio or Florida McCain is finished. Do you think Richardson might help him in Florida?
