State budget;
•	Instead of taxing food, why don’t we tax gas? In an age of conservation wouldn’t this make sense?
•	Since most of the state budget shortfall is because of low energy prices, would consumers really notice a few pennies on the now cheap price of a gallon of gas?
•	Why can’t we have a formula to tax gas at the pump when it’s cheap then phase out the tax as the price of crude eventually goes up (as it surely will)?
•	Or is it that big oil and their big media advertising push is just too powerful?

Richard Tarangelo
Tarangelo@aps.edu

Re: About us

you can read about Cris Sanchez on www.Sanchez2010.com. It was a great showing with over 300 supporters filled with family, friends and constituents’. Cris Sanchez talked about his views, his objectives and his pursuit to a 2010 Sheriffs VICTORY!!! Looks like its going to be another great election try for him. Good luck Cris. Could reach Cris at 243-4849 or 480-4857

Re: About us

What a wonderfully done on-line news source. I will add it to my favorites to track the ongoings in "The Land of Enchantment".
Thanks!!

Re: About us

I encourage one of your reporters to look into Me Via, an organization that provides money for the disabled to hire people to care for their needs. I have worked for a woman who is budgeted at 37 thousand a year, yet she is brain damaged and has no one to help her make decisions with this program. I worked for two months without pay because there is no supervisor of program. So New Mexico investors may not know what is happening in the program. It seems like a real opportunity for all kings of money making for family members who can get this money by helping the disabled member but without supervision ? Anyway it is all a mess and hard to explain because the workers are paid thru yet another complex organization which is in Mass. I would be happy to talk to someone about this because I think it is a beg scam and that the money is going to executives not clients. Please call me , Autumn Riddle at 379 7094 . Thanks
