The New Mexico Independent: A label that hurts

This article fails to place the Rio Rancho circumstances in the context of the national housing picture, which seems far more significant than any "e-mail messages" a local realtor sent "to her clients." Prices are off and loans harder to get in many places. Is Rio Rancho part of that national development, or is something else happening here?

I would just like to point out that zip codes 87124 and 87144 cover "all" of Rio Rancho. Zip code 87113 is right in the middle of Albuquerque near the Jefferson Corridor.
