  • Thank you, Tracy. More writing should be done to highlight the difference between post-racial and post-racism as well as the politics of Obama's clean(er) campaign versus Clinton's embrace of gender-politics.

    Oh, Obama's not bad, either. How he responded to Rev. Wright--not taking the bait or the well-worn political 'distancing' track--gave me more hope for the future than any political moment in years. Well, that and having a wife who thinks/writes/acts as above and a son who sees with the clarity of young eyes give me hope. Just maybe we can...
